This event, formerly known as the Edgehill Half Marathon, offers a stunning course that begins in front of the magnificent Compton Verney house and takes participants through the charming villages of Kineton, Little Kineton, and Radway. Runners will tackle the delightful challenge of the 'cheeky' Pittern Hill at the 11.5-mile mark, before making their way back to finish on the beautiful lawns by the lake at Compton Verney. With a fantastic atmosphere and a history of beautiful weather, this half marathon is the perfect way to enjoy a day of fitness and fun in a stunning setting. Previously known as Edgehill Half Marathon, we decided to rename this glorious event after the beautiful Compton Verney start/finish venue, and also the course doesn't actually go up Edgehill! The half marathon sets off in front of the house, and winds through the villages of Kineton, Little Kineton and Radway, before returning up the 'cheeky' Pittern Hill at 11.5 miles, and back to finish on the lawns of Compton Verney, by the lake.
