Organiser's Description

--- This event has been cancelled due to ongoing concerns regarding Coronavirus. The race organiser will be in touch with you in due course if you have made a booking for this event. ---

Join us for an easy-going 8k running tour through London's East End, stopping at a few of our favourite breweries and pubs to sample the best craft beer on offer. Along the way, your beer-loving tour guide will tell you more about the brewing history of the East End and the dynamics behind the recent craft beer revolution.

The run begins at the Old Truman Brewery - previously the largest brewery in the World - on bustling Brick Lane and takes you to a number of nods to the area's brewing past. The tour ends in a brewery in Hackney Wick, with a pint and a snack, after a beautiful jog along the canal. So whether you're a beer-lover who can't get enough, or you want to understand what all the fuss is about, this is the best way to spend two or three hours in East London.

Join this tour if you're comfortable running 8km in sub-11 minute miles

Run Speed

It's important for us that everybody feels comfortable on the run. Join this tour if you're comfortable running 8km in sub-11 minute miles

All runners (usually about 15) on the tour run at the same pace behind the tour guide. The guide will run at the pace of the slowest runner - we don't leave anyone behind. But it is difficult to accommodate your pace if it is wildly slower than the pace you and the rest of the runners on your tour have signed up for.

And if you usually run faster than the pace you've signed up for, please be prepared to run at the pace of the tour to make the rest of the runners feel comfortable.
