Cranleigh 2 hour Trail Run
The nature of Adventure Racing is that anyone of any age and fitness can take part, from the very beginner to the ultra racer. You plan and run your own race, although there are prizes for the ones who collect the most points in each category. Minimum age to take part is 8 accompanied or 16 unaccompanied. Canicross runners are most welcome - dogs go for free!
Trail Run only - using a 1:25k waterproof map, you plan your own strategy and route, deciding how many CPs you want to visit in the two hours, and in what order. Distance covered depends on how many checkpoints are visited; it can be anything from 8k to around 16+k, and depends entirely on your level of fitness, and on your running and map reading skills. Mass Start at 10.00am.
