Organiser's Description

Part of the Cyclone Festival of Cycling, the Cyclone Challenge is now recognised as one of the premier cycling events in the UK. Attracting riders from both inside and outside the UK, the event consists of four rides of 34, 64, 90 and 106 miles, and is designed to cater for all ages and abilities. Starting from the Newcastle Falcons Rugby stadium, on the edge of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, four different routes rapidly transport riders into the picturesque landscapes of Northumberland: quiet roads along beautiful river valleys, over remote moorlands and through pretty villages.
