This thrilling middle-distance triathlon, hosted at the stunning YMCA Lakeside on the shores of Lake Windermere, offers an exhilarating challenge for participants of all levels. Athletes will tackle a 1.9km swim in the crystal-clear waters of Lake Windermere, followed by a challenging 90km cycle on the scenic, undulating roads of the South Lakes. Rounding out the event is a scenic half marathon that follows the beautiful Windermere shoreline.
For those who prefer a shorter challenge, EpicMan also features a standard distance course (1500m swim, 40km bike, and 10km run) on the same day, ensuring that everyone can join in the fun. Organiser's Description
EpicMan is the ultimate middle distance (half Iron) triathlon, based at YMCA Lakeside, on the shore of Lake Windermere. The 1.9km Swim takes place in the clear waters of Lake Windermere and is a single lap course. The 90km cycle takes place on undulating roads around the South Lakes and the half marathon follows the Windermere shoreline path for a scenic out and back course. If you're not up for the middle distance, we also have a standard distance course (1500m / 40k / 10k) on the same day. There will be lots of things going on at the race venue, come and join us for an EPIC day of triathlon!
