Sat 2nd May 2026

Logo with bold yellow and teal shapes and text reading: "FIFE Pilgrim Way ULTRA 90K" alongside a cross symbol. The design is abstract with a route-like shape on a white background. A rural field with golden, cut hay and several large round hay bales scattered across it, under a partly cloudy blue sky with distant green hills in the background. A person in athletic gear runs along a narrow dirt path through a green field, bordered by trees and bushes under a bright blue sky with scattered clouds.

Organiser's Description

NEW ULTRA MARATHON FOR 2026 UTMB Index 100K category

Step back in time and follow in the footsteps of pilgrims who, centuries ago, journeyed across Fife seeking meaning, purpose, and connection. Inspired by Queen Margaret’s historic crossing at Queensferry, this fully marked ultra takes you along the ancient pilgrim route to St Andrews Cathedral – once the final resting place of the Apostle’s remains.

This isn’t just another ultra.
It’s a journey of reflection, endurance, and discovery. Run through historic towns like Dunfermline, Lochore, Markinch, and Ceres, soak in breathtaking Fife landscapes, and feel the stories of faith and determination echo with every step.
