Celebrating 100 years of Forestry Commission England, this unique 10k running series takes you through the stunning forests of England. Choose to enter any individual 10k event or take on the Forestry 100 Challenge and run 100k of forest trails across ten events in the series. With 16 beautiful forest sites around the country, each 10k trail offers its own unique characteristics. The Bedgebury National Pinetum and Forest course features impressive conifers, picturesque lakes, challenging inclines, and muddy tracks. Start at the walled garden, pass by Marshals Lake, run through the forest along the family cycle route, and finish with an uphill sprint. Celebrate 100 years of Forestry Commission England, with a unique 10k running series through the forests of England. Enter any individual 10k event, or conquer the nation's forests and complete the Forestry 100 Challenge and run 100k of forest trails across any ten events in the series. Set in 16 beautiful forest sites around the Country, each 10k trail has its own individual characteristics. Will it be flat and fast, picturesque but punishing, or steady with stunning scenery?
This is a beautiful run through the Bedgebury National Pinetum and Forest, past impressive conifers and picturesque lakes. The run starts at the walled garden and then descends to the glorious reflections and water lilies at Marshals Lake. You will then run deeper into the Bedgebury Forest, along the family cycle route and under the canopy of trees. Enjoy the challenging inclines and muddy tracks, then return for your final uphill finish!
