Organiser's Description

PB BREAKER ROAD RUN

 

Returning in 2022 the pb breaker, has quite simply been designed to help you break your pb HALF or 16km (10 mile) personal best time, many runners from 2021, grabbed a new PB or seasons best time.

Registration is at the Glastonbury football club (abbey moor stadium).

 

The route will be open to traffic, however the location is super quiet and not on busy roads.

the whole route is in sight of Glastonbury tor and along the droves the surround this spiritual site.

 

ROUTES AVAILABLE

HALF MARATHON  (21KM)

MAP and GPS

and

16 KM (10 MILE)

MAP and GPS

 

Prizes will be available for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places for male and female.

 

EACH RUNNER WILL RECIEVE:

- A fantastic finisher medal.
- Entry goodies (distance specific)
- Timed results 
- Bag drop.
- Aid station/s (route distance will determine how many)
- First aid in the event centre and throughout the event course
- Post-race refreshments (available to purchase)

 

EVENT CENTRE:

and will include

 

- Parking (Free)
- Toilets (real toilets)
- Hot and cold drinks and small snacks (fee payable)

 

 

FEED STATIONS:

For 2022 we will add a second feed station this will include: -

- Water (V)
- Bananas (V)
- Soreen bars
- Jelly beans or Jelly babies

Please note we are a CUPLESS event company, which means you need to carry your own water or something to drink from, we have NO bottled water or disposable cups available at the feeds.

 

FEED STATION LOCATIONS:

Approx 7km and 14km for the Half.

Approx 7km for the 16km.

 

 

SPECIFIC EVENT INFORMATION:

Registration will be from 0800 – 1000

The HALF marathon  event will start at 1000

The 16 km or 10 mile event will start at 1000

There will be a small safety brief on the start line just before the race begins, if you miss the briefing you will not be able to compete.

- Medical support (inc. on the course)
- Full route marking (gpx and tcx files available to download if required)
- 3rd party rider public liability insurance
- Aid station/s, inc energy drink (we do not supply gels)

- On site catering (hot and cold drinks and food available to purchase)
- Pick up wagons

Whether you are setting yourself a fitness target, raising money for your good cause or just coming to join the hundreds of other runners who are running for their own goals, you know you can also run just for fun.

(The event is limited of 300 runners over all the distances).

We always welcome volunteers at our events so if you fancy joining the team for the day or even a few hours at registration or with parking, please get in touch. you will be rewarded for your efforts and will be able to choose an event to enter for free, that is any event and any distance.
