Organiser's Description
As well as a Junior race, you can choose between the 5k, 10k or Half Marathon - all equally good for those venturing into racing, moving up a distance or just trying to improve times. Something for the whole family and a safe environment for spectators with refreshments and plenty of history around you!

What's Included
Chip-timed.
Bag Drop: You can leave your belongings with us while you race using the tear-off baggage strip on your race number, collecting after you finish by presenting your race number.
Toilets: There will be temporary toilets at the start/finish.
Race Marshals: Marshals will be present on the course throughout the race.
Distance Markers: The route will be clearly indicated with arrows, tape and Km markers where necessary.
Water Stations: There are no water stations along the course, only at the finish. Water will be provided in recyclable plastic cups.
Post-Race Goodies: All runners will receive water and snacks on finishing the race.
Refreshments: Pre/Post-race coffee and refreshments available.
Medals: All finishers will receive a medal on completing the race.
Prizes: Prizes will be awarded to the top three runners overall and the top runner in each of the veteran categories in the Half Marathon, 10k & 5k races.
Course Details
The route is entirely on tarmac (disused runways), free of traffic and suitable for runners of all abilities. Please always be vigilant of other runners, spectators, dogs, cyclists and other users of public footpaths and rights of way.
Parking
Parking: You will need to display a car pass in order to gain access to the Airbase, which will be emailed to you prior to race day.
