On Sunday, July 21st, 2019, join us at the stunning Farmoor Reservoir in Oxford, Oxfordshire, for a triathlon experience like no other. This event features a challenging yet rewarding 1.9km swim in the beautiful Thames Water Reservoir, followed by a fast and flat 90km bike course that takes you through picturesque country roads with excellent traffic management. Rounding off the day is a dynamic 21km run along the reservoir paths, providing ample opportunities for supporters to cheer on their favorite athletes. Whether you’re a seasoned triathlete or taking on the challenge for the first time, the Immortal Half is your chance to achieve a personal best and become an Immortal Triathlete. Following on from a hugely successful 2018 season, we are very excited to announce a return to one of our favourite venues, Farmoor Reservoir, in Oxfordshire. where this Thames Water Reservoir offers a fantastic swim venue.
The bike course, 3 laps through beautiful country roads, with excellent traffic management, represents a fantastic opportunity for a PB; it is predominantly flat, with two small climbs but overall very, very fast.
The run route again is predominantly flat, and multi-lap on the paths around the Reservoir meaning plenty of spectator locations. Be part of something special and become an Immortal Triathlete.
