Course Details

Starting and finishing inside the iconic Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, the route takes you past the London 2012 Olympic Venues before heading out onto the surrounding CLOSED ROADS. This course gives you the opportunity to take in the inspiring atmosphere of the park and surrounding traffic free roads – this was the first Half Marathon closed-road event staged at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park!

on the day

REFRESHMENTS There will be 3 water stations along the course at miles 3, 6.5 and 10 as well as at the finish line where you can collect your medal, t-shirt and goodie bag.

THE COURSE The race will start and finish in the same location next to the event village. There will be yellow signs marking each mile along the course and along with arrows to direct you along the way there will be plenty of marshals to keep you going all the way to the finish. As this is a road closed race we strongly advise against wearing headphones to ensure that you are alert to all marshal instructions throughout the race.

RESULTS Results will be run live on the LondonHalf.com website so you can see your official time as soon as you cross the finish line! If you have any questions or queries regarding your time please do contact us at [email protected]

PICTURES We will have a couple of photographers taking a few snaps of the race, which will be uploaded to the London Half Facebook page shortly after the race, so be sure to check it out and see if you can spot yourself. All race photos are free for you to save and share as you wish!

Things To Note! There WILL be pedestrians in the Park, please be aware of pedestrians, cyclists and dogs. We have marshals and signs around the course, but please pay very close attention to where you are going. We recommend you do not use earphones and you need to pay close attention to everything around you.

Great event put on by run through as always. Good value, well supported, brilliant marshalling, super organised. And this was definitely one of the better courses. Lots of wiggling around, instead of laps, so no chance of getting bored. Will definitely do it again for a marathon training run
