This great event will return to the North-East calendar in 2017, having been absent for 3 years. A one lap swim in the beautiful, sheltered, Newbiggin-by-the-Sea bay, is followed by a town centre 3 lap bike leg with closed roads, giving spectators plenty of opportunity to take in the excitement of the event. The 2 lap flat and super-fast run along the promenade brings finishers over the line, against a backdrop of the emerging, revamped town centre and the stunning North Sea coast.
