Course Details

Buxton: 100km, 1,250m or 56km, 650m

A glorious 100km loop in the Peak District. Starting in Buxton, we head south on the Tissington Trail before the medium route split at 20km. The long route goes further south on smooth gravel and across to Wirksworth before hitting the High Peaks Trail north again.

Both the medium & long route head north east to Bakewell and hit the Monsal Trail and some local off road sections back to Buxton.

Though the Peaks are full of punchy climbs, this ride is relatively quick on rolling terrain and no major climbs. Expect fast flowing gravel, stunning views and a mega day on the bike exploring lesser seen parts of the Peaks.

Terrain & Bike Choice: Most of the ride is on smooth gravel or back roads. As ever, on the short technical sections a mountain bike would be more comfortable but for most riders we would recommend a gravel bike with 40mm tyres. E bikes are welcome on all our rides.
