Northampton Half Marathon
Organiser's Description
The race begins with a tour of Northampton's heritage, starting at the Guildhall, touring the town centre and returning to the Guildhall, before heading out of town for some countryside running.
This is a picturesque course with an inspiring finish in the shadow of Delapre Abbey - a terrific backdrop for the Northampton Half Marathon.

By road: Northampton is a 10 minute drive from the M1 junction 15a
By train: Northampton mainline station has services to London Euston, Birmingham New Street, Liverpool Lime Street, and stations in between.
By bus: Services from Northampton provide travel to outlying villages and towns within the County, making links to Corby, Daventry, Kettering, Rushden and Wellingborough. They also go as far afield as Bedford, Bicester, Leicester, Market Harborough, Milton Keynes, Peterborough and Rugby.
Registration: Registration will open from 13:00 until 16:00 on Saturday 25 September and from 08:00 on Race Day. Registration will be located at The Old Bank Pub opposite the Guildhall.
Age Limit: 17 Years Old
The walking route to the start will be signed and is one mile. A bag drop facility for small bags will be available at the start area to allow a discard of pre-race clothing only.
Event parking will be near the the finish in Delapre Country Park. In addition, there is parking in the town centre but this will not be signed or marshalled.
Toilets: Available at the start in the pub and additional portable toilets in front of the Guildhall and in Delapre Abbey after the race. Changing facilities are limited.
Headphones: In accordance with the UKA ruling the wearing of headphones is NOT permitted please
