Organiser's Description
The participants vary from nervous first-timers of all ages through to competitive runners. The Oswestry 10k will take place on Sunday 18th Ocotber 2020 and the event start/finish in Church St and loop around the town. The event HQ & start/finish are a short walk from several car parks in the town centre.
Other Information
The Race Start / Finish will be full of music and flags. There will be a help desk at Race HQ for any last minute issues, Bag drop, sponsors and of course pre and post-race massage. The race village is just a short walk from the local park, car parks, retail shops, cafes and eatery’s.

Race Start: 9 am
Parking
Bailey Head car park SY11 1PZ or Salop Rd Central Car Park SY11 2NR.
We advise local residents to park on the outskirts of town and walk in.
Spectators
The race will take place on fully closed roads for the safety of the runners and the volunteers, therefore we ask that you listen to Marshals and stay off the course until runners have passed. We suggest that spectators watch the start and start and finish on Church street. The route has good pavement coverage so feel free to cheer on from all areas.
