Course Details

Our 5k event offers a single lap route around the landscaped grounds of Temple Newsam, starting and finishing in front of the impressive Tudor-Jacobean mansion.

The terrain is predominantly path with some small sections of flagstone/rubble paths which can be uneven in places. It is generally flat or downhill, but there is a 500m uphill stretch around the 2K point which some people may find challenging. Wheelchair users would likely need assistance to complete this section of the course

Please arrive 30 to 45 minutes before your start time so that you are prepared and ready to go on time.me

Further Information

Please read the course information section regarding the terrain and uphill sections to decide whether you feel this is a suitable course; we would recommend it to be accessible with assistance.

All vehicles must access the venue via Temple Newsam Road but there is also pedestrian access via Elm Walk. Please see travel information section for detail on blue badge parking.

The start and finish areas are both on the same grass field but are within approximately 70m of each other and on flat ground.
