Course Details
Our 5k event offers a single lap route around the grounds of Graves Park starting near the animal farm , the route takes participants around the boating lake, between the cattle fields, around the cricket fields and through Cobnar Woods. The course terrain is a even mix of path, woodland trials and grass and does involve some hills between 3-4k
Please remember to bring your own water bottle already filled as there will be no bottled water provided at events. ScottishPower water refill stations will be available to use.
Please arrive 30 to 45mins before your start time so that you are prepared and ready to go on time.
Further Information
Wheelchair users: Unfortunately, none of our event routes at this venue are completely suitable for wheelchair users. This is due to the large sections of the course being on narrow woodland tracks with no suitable path available as an alternative. Alternately nearby venues at Chesterfield and Doncaster are suitable for wheelchair users
The event site would be suitable for wheelchair users providing the weather is dry as it is on grass. If there has been wet weather there are areas of hard standing ground around the perimeter
Careers are welcome free of charge.
