Event summary
Organiser's Description
Your running adventure (2 or 3 day options) will begin on Friday evening, with a 10k night run around Loe Pool. Saturday morning you’ll head off along the coast path for about 20k, to The Lizard, England’s most Southerly point. On Sunday, the 3-day adventurers will join the local Hash House Harriers and head out onto the trails around the Porthleven.

Timing
Arrival at the accommodation will be from 5.00pm on the Friday afternoon. The 3 day event will finish at 9.30am on Monday morning. The 2 day option will finish at 9.30am on Sunday morning. Full details regarding the itinerary and timings will be found in your booking pack.

How To Get There
By road: Penrose Estate is 2 miles SW of Helston on the B3304, which is accessed from the A394. Turn left at signpost to Loe Bar and left into car park.
By train: The nearest train station is Camborne, with direct trains from Bristol and London Paddington.
Parking
Donation parking is available at various car parks around Penrose. National Trust pay and display car park at Gunwalloe beaches, free to members.
Mandatory Kit List
CLOTHES:
Wicking top and shorts or leggings
Socks
Trail running shoes (sufficient tread)
WEATHER DEPENDENT ITEMS:
Lightweight waterproof jacket
Sun hat / cap
Warm hat and gloves
ACCESSORIES:
Fully charged mobile phone including the numbers for the Lead Runners, Event Director, as well as appropriate emergency services (charge before use and make sure it's in a waterproof case or bag)
Lightweight, comfortable running pack (max 12 litres)
Water bottles / bladder
Snacks to sustain you for the planned route
Waterproof bags/dry bags
Whistle
Personal first aid kit (eg: blister packs, sunscreen, inhaler etc)
We will not be checking your kit on the day, but we highly recommend you bring these items for your safety.
