Get ready for an exhilarating day of racing at the Running GP Oulton Park Races & Duathlon, hosted by RunThrough Events on Sunday, August 31st, 2025! This exciting event takes place at the stunning Oulton Park race circuit in Tarporley, Cheshire West and Chester, providing a perfect setting for both seasoned athletes and enthusiastic newcomers alike. Participants can choose from a variety of race distances: tackle the Half Marathon with 5 laps, the 10k with 2 laps plus an out-and-back segment, or the 5k with 1 lap and an out-and-back. For duathlon competitors, the Sprint Distance includes 1 lap of running, 5 laps of cycling, and 1 mini lap, while the Standard Distance features 2 laps of running, 9 laps of cycling, and 1 lap of running.

The action kicks off bright and early, with the Half Marathon starting at 9:00 am, followed by the 10k at 9:30 am, and the 5k at 9:45 am. The duathlons will commence at 12:00 pm, ensuring a full day of excitement and community spirit. Don’t miss out on this

CUT OFF

Please note there is a strict 3 hour cut off time for the Half Marathon as the Duarthlons will begin at 12:00. There is a strict 4 hour cut off for both duathalons.

OTHER INFORMATION

(only relevant for the Duathlon entries) - please ensure this isalso included in the duathlon entry forms (not applicable for the 10k/HM)For any duathlon races - If you do NOT hold a BTF membership please note, there will be anadditional £8 added during checkout to cover the cost of your BTF day insurance. If you area BTF Member, please ensure that you complete your licence number accurately during theregistration process. All licence numbers will be validated by BTF before the event and anyparticipants with an invalid BTF licence number will be asked to show an online copy atregistration.

PARKING

There is free parking available adjacent to the event village.

BAGGAGE

The car park is adjacent to the event village, we therefore recommend leaving any valuablessecurely within your own vehicle. We will have a secure area where you can leave your baggage. We recommend you bringas little baggage as possible. Your baggage tag is attached to your race number, you simplytear it off and attach it to your bag. To collect, show your number to our staff and they will help you find your baggage.

TOILETS

There will be portaloos at the event village which can be used before and during the race.

REFRESHMENTS

There will be one water station situated on the course which runners will be able to access every lap. There will also be water available at the finish line.
