Event summary
Organiser's Description
Come and run either 5k or 10k and race round the course before the sun goes down. Starting at 7pm, you can either play it safe and race around a quick 5k or take on a full 10k before the sun sets. At the end of the race you will get your hands on your well deserved Chase the Sun themed medal! Check out our calendar for a full list of Chase the Sun events this summer.
Run through the picturesque Wimbledon Common; this flat trail course is the perfect way to spend a summer’s evening!

How To Get There
Train/Tube - The nearest train station is Wimbledon. From here, take 93 bus to bus stop Q (Marryat Road), it is then a 5-10 minute walk to the start.
By Foot - The park is easily accessible by foot, just pop on google maps and head for Cannizaro Park.
Please, wherever possible walk, jog, run, cycle or use public transport when attending the event. Please also watch out for other park users when arriving and leaving. You can use TFL to help plan your journey.
Course Details
We will have marshals all around the course as well as KM signs and arrows. It will be 1 lap for the 5k and 2 lap for the 10k. Please be aware that there will be spectators and members of the public using the park - be aware of people walking, dogs and bikes.
