Amazing coastline, great spectator support and live music on the route
Now in its 4th year, this event is proving popular and has sold out each year. Join us for the Saxon Shore Half Marathon along the lovely seafronts of Herne Bay and Whitstable. We have a great Race HQ, with the Event Village back in 2021. The live music is also back following the restrictions in 2020.
The Event Village is a great place for family and friends to relax and enjoy the atmosphere and is in easy reach of some great viewing points along the course. Food and drink, live music, it’s certainly one to bring the whole family to enjoy. Head down to the beach with the family to make a whole day of the visit, or have a wander round the lovely towns of Whitstable and Herne Bay.
The majority of the route is along the seafront from Herne Bay to Whitstable and in most part is fairly flat and fast, making it ideal for beginners or those looking for a quick time.
