Organiser's Description

A fantastic middle distance triathlon in the heart of West Wales. A sea swim from the beach in the picturesque coastal village of Burry Port, outside Llanelli is followed by a by a challenging bike course into the rural splendour that Carmarthenshire has to offer. The loop contains just over 3000ft of climbing but does also provide plenty of opportunity to average some high speeds. The run is flat and will provide athletes with a great chance of posting a quick time - although the coastal wind may play its part!.
