Organiser's Description

The Swansea 5k is the final discipline which will complete and close the jam-packed weekend of events. The 5k provides a fast and flat run course, with pleasant views of Swansea Bay, Wales’ waterfront city beach. This discipline is open to participants 11+ years old and is a great introductory event. Get involved in this challenge and take home a medal to celebrate your victory!

We want to ensure the Swansea 5k is an amazing day for all athletes! We also want to make sure that everyone competing knows exactly what’s happening, when it’s happening, and most importantly what you need to keep safe and have a great time!

In order to take part in the event, you MUST bring Photo ID to registration. It is also imperative that you watch the Video Briefing prior to the event.

Can I wear headphones?
No, we discourage anyone wearing headphones during the race.

Is the run mainly on roads or is it multi-terrain?
The run is entirely on pavements/hard surfaces

Are there any drink/feed stations on the course?
There are no drink/feed stations on course as this event is a short distance. There will be water at the finish line.

Is there a cut off?
Last athlete cut-off is 12pm.
