Join us for the exciting Teignmouth 750m Open Water Time Trial (OWTT) Race 1 on Wednesday, May 8, 2019! Set against the stunning backdrop of Teignmouth Beach, this friendly event kicks off at 18:30 and offers swimmers a chance to challenge themselves in a deep water start. Participants will navigate an anticlockwise rectangular course, expertly marked with large yachting buoys, making for a thrilling evening in the sea.
This 750m time trial is part of a series of six events taking place throughout the summer, ensuring plenty of opportunities to improve your skills and enjoy the camaraderie of fellow swimmers. Prizes include a bottle of prosecco for the top male and female finishers, as well as the swimmer who is deemed the 'best trier.' Organiser's Description
A Wednesday evening, friendly 750m open water swim time trial (TT) in the sea at Teignmouth Beach, starting at 18:30. A deep water start, anticlockwise, rectangle course, marked with large yachting buoys. This event is one of six throughout the summer of 2019. The distance is measured the same each event and accounts for the tide.
A bottle of prosecco for the first male, first female and the swimmer deemed the 'best trier'. All prize winners get free entry to the next TT.
