Organiser's Description

Join Robertsbridge Bonfire Society with the return of their Midsummer 10k & 5k around this pretty East Sussex village.

The course will take you along the roads and trails surrounding the village and finish at the Cricket Club. The race is open to runners of all abilities and is great for those looking to complete their first 10k. Plus with a barbecue and bar available why not bring the family down to enjoy a Summer evening party! There will also be a Children's race shortly before the start of the main race.

St John Ambulance or an alternative medical provider will be in attendance on the day

The course will be marshalled

There will be a sweep marshal following the race to ensure that nobody is left behind and that all runners are accounted for.

By car

The A21 running North to South between London and Hastings runs parallel to the village. It takes roughly an hour and a half to get into central London by car from Robertsbridge, traffic permitting. Hastings is about 20 minutes away in the opposite (southerly) direction.

By train

Robertsbridge train station is frequented by twice hourly services in both directions. To Hastings via Battle, Crowhurst, West St. Leonards and St. Leonards Warrior Square takes about 30 minutes. To London Charing Cross via Etchingham, Stonegate, Wadhurst, Frant, Tunbridge Wells, High Brooms, Tonbridge, Sevenoaks, Orpington and London Bridge takes a little more than an hour.

By bus

Rural bus services connect the village directly with other local settlements and the closest towns.

Course Details

The 10k course is an undulating route using the paths and trails surrounding the village of Robertsbridge.

Results

Your individual time and position will be recorded by your electronic chip. We will endeavour to display results as they come into the race centre. Results will be uploaded to www.nice-work.org.uk as soon as possible after the race. All entrants that have supplied a valid and legible email address will receive a copy of the results as soon as possible after the race.

Other Information

Race packs will be sent out approximately 10 days prior to race day.
