Fancy a cold and dirty weekend? The Winter Beast is a double or quit trail race of 5ish or 10ish miles. The course includes water, mud, 40ish obstacles usually tackled by animals of the 4 legged variety, lung busting hills to stagger up (and down), a couple of surprises, oh and did we mention cold, possibly frozen, water. Aylesford Equine X Country Course, Shoby, near Melton Mowbray.
