Great event. My first time at Egham half marathon which I enjoyed throughly. I parked at the station car which was only a 10 minute walk to the event. The course was well marshalled and everyone was really friendly. I will definitely be back next year!

Well organised, not quite as flat as advertised. I did the half marathon in 2020 - it's quite a small affair but fairly well organised. It was easy to get to the start from Egham station and well signposted. Not a bad atmosphere in the event village considering it was early February and a bit muddy. The course itself is reasonable though not very scenic. It's also not quite as flat as billed - there was a pretty steep hill at around 6 miles that took the wind out of my sails, then it was undulating for a few miles after that. I only saw one small set of portaloos on the course which could have been a problem for some. But plenty of marshals and three water stations is good for a half. Overall, a good event for a small and early-season run.

Fair. I ran the very first Thorpe Park and Egham half marathon. Parking was free, on site on grass land. The start is on the carpark of the Thorpe Park theme park gates. I think the route was through an industrial area and besides dual carriageways. The crowds are great at the start and finish only. When collecting my medal I noticed it was broken and went to get another medal, they were all like it as they did not have permission to use the Thorpe Park logo and had to cut that park off. Finisher T-shirt were few and far between in everyones sizes, they had to look for them. Think the car park exit was a little tricky due to the amount of cars exiting at one time.

The route was beautiful. This race was my 3rd half marathon. However I have participated in many RunThrough events. I enjoyed the warm up And was glad because it was so cold. The route was beautiful it was nice to see all the different places in Surrey. The 2 small hills were not too much of a drama. I know they said it was a flat course but you can't have 13 miles without 2 small hills can you. I was nice running through residential and waving at the people in the windows. Overall a very enjoyable race which I would definitely do again.

5 out of 5. I'd rate the Thorpe half marathon a 5 out of 5 I had a great morning and felt that the event was organised and run really well with very friendly staff. I will be attending again next year and will definitely recommend anyone to take part!

Overall a very good half. Booking through find a race was swift and if all races could be booked that way it would be a simpler world! Thorpe Park half marathon was particularly well organised for the price of race, the facilities were perfect and the medal and t-shirt were extremely cool. The course is quite flat, so overall a very good half!
