A four day festival of running which takes in the best sights and sounds that Tameside has to offer. A variety of running routes and terrains challenges participants both physically and mentally, with all stages having been carefully chosen to be achievable for runners of all abilities.
The Tour of Tameside consists of four races on consecutive days: the X-Trail 10k, Hell on the Fell 6 miles, Hero Half Marathon and Dr Ron Hyde 7 mile. The original week-long Tour was founded in 1983 by marathon legend Dr Ron Hill MBE.
