Weston-super-Mare, North Somerset

Weston Bay, Weston-super-Mare BS23, UK

Sun 17th February 2019

Organiser's Description

A 10 mile multi-terrain race with a 2h 15 min time limit, from the beach at Weston-super-mare. The course uses sections of beach in Weston Bay and Sand Bay, closed tarmac road along the seafront and coast, sections of promenade, woodland trails within Worlebury Woods and the National Trust headland and trig point on Sand Point. In parts it is flat and fast, in others there are challenging climbs and long down hill sections.

Also a 5 mile race, a perfect introduction to multi-terrain running, and a 1mile Fun Run, totally safe and traffic free, being primarily on firm sand on the beach and using parts of the promenade..
