Organiser's Description
This event is aimed at all levels of fitness and ability, whether it's your first triathlon or you are trying to improve on your previous performance. The aim of the event, which takes place from Hood Park Leisure Centre in Ashby de la Zouch, is to encourage people to take on the challenge of this great sport. Enter as an individual, or as a relay team.
A swim in the outdoor heated pool is followed by a bike leg around local country lanes - a single lap, mostly flat, with a hill about 6 miles - then a run around the surrounding paths with some off road sections. Sprint and supersprint events. Also junior event with the bike and run on the field behind the Leisure Centre and totally traffic free.
