Really enjoyed the event, it was my second swim event and consider myself a definite novice. The event could have been better organised, the what3words location for the carpark was miles away from the event, the event wasn’t well signposted both in and out of the event field, briefing was quite abrupt and the atmosphere left enough to be desired. Whilst swimming taking in the scenery, one of the safety marshals told me it wasn’t a Sunday coffee morning. The other safety Marshall’s were fantastic, scenery was incredible and the lake was lovely, I’d recommend if you’re after a rough and ready vibe.
