Organiser's Description

Chaos on The Calverley Millenium Way. A 12km / 7.5 mile Trail Race taking place on the fully marked Calverley Millenium Way Footpath. So why Chaos? The unique aspect of this Great Owl Running event is that on this single loop course runners will be running in both clockwise and anti-clockwise directions. The course is fully marked and marshalled at key areas.

Route and elevation

The race starts and finishes at The Railway Inn. After the first 100m or so runners will choose whether to run the course clockwise or anti-clockwise. The route has permanent blue/yellow and green footpath markers and will have extra pink markers added on the day of the event.

What's Included

A Complimentary beer will be provided to all finishers at the end of the race

Parking

The Railway Inn has a place to lock your bike and is easily accessible via the Leeds Liverpool Canal so access by foot or bike is the best way to reach us.

If driving we strongly recommend parking on Calverley Lane situated just off the A6120. We recommend to avoid Calverley Bridge which is often full. Once parked The Railway Inn is a short walk over the river.

kit list

All runners must turn up with the following…
Windproof / Waterproof Jacket All runners MUST carry a warm jacket / extra clothing suitable for the winter weather should you get yourself in trouble (Weather permitting)
Water Container - Great Owl Running events are cupless, we provide water at refill stations but you must bring your own container.
SHOES - Trail Shoes with half decent grip are strongly recommended for this route
