Gazelle up Everest - All Year Challenge

Exeter, Devon

Exeter, England, United Kingdom

Sat 1st January 2022 - Sat 31st December 2022

Starting at 08:00

Organiser's Description

Apparently it's quite risky to actually climb Everest... so we don't want you to do that. We just want you to run up it, well its equivalent in elevation that is. Yes, that's reaching a towering 29,031feet (8,849m) in elevation. As this is quite the climb, this challenge is open for the entire year of 2022. Hiking, or running on hilly routes is great for full body strength training. It will make those flat runs feel like a breeze.

That elevation sound too easy to gain in a year? Well then climb it as fast as you can! There will be a live results table throughout the year to see which runner/walker reached the peak quickest.

What do you get?

- The whole of 2022 to complete. Register anytime. If you register half way through the year, the elevation you had already gained from January 1st still counts.
- Log the runs anywhere in the world
- Bespoke Flying Gazelle finishers medal
- Branded Flying Gazelle neck gaiter
- Entry to the live results table (including placement on overall position for how quickly you reached the peak)
