Organiser's Description
This is a lovely mix of trails, meadows, playing fields and flatlands which run alongside the Exe, through the beautiful Ludwell Valley, Hoopern Valley, Redhills and Mincing Lake Country Park.
Turn up, collect your race pack and run. Runners can run in pairs or with their partners or running buddies, in groups or solo.
All entrants will receive chip timing, a zoom 3D overview of the course and a Youtube walkthrough.
Starts and finishes in the piazza in Haven Road opposite the Quay Climbing Centre, Exeter EX2 8AX.The Green Circle around Exeter
It links the industrial heritage of the city with some of its most inspiring natural surroundings in a way that will have you looking at the city in a new light.

Course Details
Starting from Haven Banks, Exeter’s Quayside area opposite The Quay Climbing Centre, runners will turn right and cross the Exe via the weirs, running through the Hoopern Valley, through the University campus, Mincing Lake park, the Ludwell valley and the Barley Valley

We highly recommend that you familiarise yourself with the route or follow our GPX downloadable from Viewranger.
You should not just follow other runners, so that you feel reasonably confident in your own ability (and also you’ll enjoy it more).
We recommend that you download the route GPX from Viewranger or buy one of our bespoke maps.
NB: Parts of the route are way marked with the Green Circle symbol, but we would not recommend you rely on this.

Start of the Yellow Zone (Marsh Barton station bridge- 9.2 miles)
Start of the Red Zone (Heavitree Playing Fields- 7 miles),
Cut off only apples to the Green Route-4 hours
Yellow and Red Zone runners will have to make their own arrangements to get back to Haven Banks, although we are working with Co Bikes to try and arrange for these to be available. Finishing scanners will be placed at all Zone finish points.
NB: (We will be using RFID shoe tags).
