Event Overview
The Greener Earth Series at Pippingford Park is a series of two eco-friendly trail races where we strive to deliver an exhilarating running experience in a sustainable environment. Last year saw our inaugural race and, having listened to your truly wonderful feedback, we decided to treat our runners with a two-race series offering for 2025. 

You'll be able to enjoy super race day vibes and experience the awesome enthusiasm of our wonderful volunteers who will help guide you along the course. There's nothing quite like crossing the finish line... the elation as you charge towards it to the cheers of local supporters. We hope that you'll join us for a very special race day and a fantastic family day out.

You can enter each race separately as a stand alone event, or you will find an option below to enter both races at a discounted rate. Just select the option that best suits you! You can choose from either a 10 Mile or 5 Mile option. Or, you can enter the series, choosing either the 10 Mile or 5 Mile distance for your series.

Course Overview
The race takes place in Pippingford Park, a breathtaking estate in the middle of the Ashdown Forest. The park consists of mostly woodland and heath with some parkland and fields, making this trail a joy to race. Our course engineers have put together a testing but more-than-achievable 5-mile loop around the grounds of this historic estate to craft a race that is suitable for everyone from first time off-roaders to more experienced trail junkies. Starting near the main house on the estate, the course takes in some hills, single-track trail, heathland and even the odd river crossing (over a footbridge, of course!). The 10 mile route is two laps of the course, whilst the 5 mile race is a single lap.

Why are we delivering a Greener Earth Series?
Running events produce a lot of waste and take considerable amounts of energy to deliver. By considering every aspect of our event delivery, we aim to minimise the environmental impact of our events and help to preserve the wonderful landscapes we race in, rather than cause them damage. We think that race organisers should be making this a priority when they craft a new race and we aim to be in vanguard of that change across our industry.

Our greener measures will include:
- Reducing water bottle / cup wastage by supplying biodegradable cups and encouraging runners to bring their own containers.
- On site running shoe recycling
- We will be reusing/recycling race bibs across the series. At the end of the race will collect and recycle your race bibs. 
- There will be no paper communications.
- We will supply virtual goodie bags.
- Environmentally friendly race nutrition
- On-site eco waste management
- We will encouraging carpooling for all entrants.
