Organiser's Description

One of the biggest running events in the world attracting athletes from across the globe. With a new title sponsor for 2022 the 42nd mass participation running of this event promises to be the biggest ever.

If you aren't lucky enough to get a place through the ballot there are still ways to enter, including running for charity, 'good for age' entries, and club entries.

Having changed only very slightly over the years, the London Marathon follows a path well-known to anyone lucky enough to have taken part.

An experience. Everyone largely has a great day for the London Marathon. You race for a number of reasons. I myself am not a fast runner, so found that the finish line very underwhelming which was a shame. I think people had dwindled away after a while so wasn't so fun :(
