This event is designed for participants of all abilities wishing to challenge themselves on either of the two course race distances. This event will be well marked and well supported by marshals. The 10 km route will consist of two laps of the 5km route.

Registration
Registration will commence in the main carpark of Gregynog on the morning of the race date. Competitors are to ensure that they register with the correct race format, either the 5km loop or 10km loop. Two registration tables will be assigned for this, so that it’s clear where they need to go. This race will have a maximum capacity of 100 competitors in total.
Participants
All competitors who wish to attend must be in a fit enough to be able to run or walk the two distances set out on the day. Participants must be over the age of 16. Participants must not have any medical conditions that would affect them in competing in a race. If unsure about this please contact Natural fitness Wales prior to the event start date.
Course Details
This course is designed to have excitement and challenge whilst exploring the beautiful trails of Gregynog. The course consists of some stone tracks but mostly twisty woodland trails. The course will have safety checkpoints for the more difficult sections, but competitors will not be required to stop at these. They are there for the participants safety only.
Participants are advised to properly hydrate themselves prior to the race beginning. Food will not be provided during the race due to the shortness of race distance. Water will be provided at the start / finish point. The cafe at Gregynog Hall will be available for refreshments throughout the morning.
Course Safety
Safety marshals will be allocated to different locations across the course. If competitors have any problems during the race they will need to inform their concerns to the course marshals who will communicate these problems back to the race HQ.
In the unfortunate event of injury occurring, all participants must call for help and await a marshal to attend to take action. All marshals will have a radio contact with race HQ. Race HQ will co-ordinate any movements of casualties.
In the unlikely event of a competitor getting lost, competitors must retrace steps to the last known marshal safety stand. If still lost competitors to call for help and await a marshal to redirect so competitor can continue with race. Any competitors wishing to not complete race distance, they are to inform the nearest safety marshal.
Parking
All competitors are required to park in Gregynog main car park only. Car parking will be guided by marshals on the morning of registration. A ticket machine is on site, please follow instructions accordingly.
