Get active this September! Are you up for the challenge? With Sprint and Super Sprint distances available, this pool-based triathlon is a great opportunity to challenge yourself, or your mates! The distances are suitable for people who have never tried an event before, as well as those who are looking for an additional challenge. We look forward to seeing you on poolside at Kimberley Leisure Centre.

How To Get There

By car: The venue is just 5 minutes from Junction 26 of the M1. Use postcode NG16 2NJ for your Satnav.

By train: Nottingham railway station is less than 6 miles away and is a key transport hub, with rail links to destinations across the country.

By bus: Trent Barton operates a bus from the Victoria Bus Station in Nottingham to Kimberley every 20 minutes. Tickets cost £2 - £4 and the journey takes 28m. The bus stop is a short walk from the Leisure Centre.

Parking

Parking is available at the venue.

What You Will Need

Swimming costume/trunks or Tri Suit

Goggles (If you have them)

A roadworthy bike (mountain or road)

A helmet

Footwear and clothing for cycling and running

Drinks and snacks. Please bring your own water bottle to help us to reduce plastic waste at this event

Event Details

Both distances are suitable for entrants aged 15+

The event involves a swim, a bike ride and a run. It starts with a swim in the pool at Kimberley Leisure Centre, followed by a bike ride on the surrounding roads, and a run on pavements and grass areas surrounding the Leisure Centre.

Events: 07:00 to 12:00

For insurance purposes we require participants to hold a British Triathlon Federation membership or to take out day membership for £5 (available to pay on the day at the event)

Great race. Very well organised, great atmosphere and everyone was friendly, couldn't have asked for a better day. Will be doing it again next year.
