Excellent Event. I’ve not done the Half Marathon at Poole Festival of Running before I usually stick to the 5k & 10k. I’m really pleased I did it was so well marshalled along the route who were all so enthusiastic which was so very helpful as I was having such a bad run the route was amazing very scenic and flat. Ideal for a first half marathon. The no headphones even bone conductors was what I found extremely hard as doing a half without music was hard for me. It was slightly upsetting that others did not adhere to the strict instructions. Over all a fab weekend of running to be had at Poole Festival and I would definitely recommend just if your a music runner train with out it!!! Massive thanks to all the marshalls you did an amazing job!
