Poppy Ride
Organiser's Description
Poppy Ride for The Royal British Legion returns for its second year in 2021. Three distance options cater for everyone, from beginners to experienced cyclists, all winding through the picturesque Staffordshire countryside and providing an opportunity for first time riders and sportive enthusiasts to ride alongside veterans. It really is an event not to be missed.
136km: This is the longest Poppy Ride and passes the very poignant National Memorial Arboretum.
70km: An ideal route for both experienced cyclists and those wanting to push themselves on a modestly flat route which takes in parts of the beautiful Cannock Chase.
35km: An almost completely flat route on quiet Staffordshire country lanes, an ideal introduction to anyone new to organised road cycling events.
