Run Dorney 5k, 10k & Half Marathon
Join us for a 5k, 10k or Half Marathon at Dorney Lake, home to London 2012′s Olympic rowing events. Dorney Lake is a purpose built rowing lake with grounds that are a perfect backdrop to running. The flat course is ideal for a chip timed personal best over the 5k, 10k or Half Marathon distance.
The course consists of laps around the lake and will involve 1 lap for the 5k, 2 laps for the 10k and 4 laps for the Half Marathon. There will be marshals all around the course as well as km signs and arrows.

Dorney Lake is ideally placed, being within easy reach of London, Heathrow Airport, the M4 corridor and the M3, M25 and M40 motorways.
It is well served by the rail network, with main stations being Slough, Maidenhead and Windsor. Taplow and Burnham train stations are also nearby.
There will be parking for all participants and spectators.
Once you enter you will receive a confirmation email. You will receive all race information, via email, in the week leading up to the event. Nothing is posted.
You will collect your race pack on the day of the event. Please make sure you arrive at least 45 minutes before the race start so you have plenty of time to collect them.
Start Times: Half Marathon – 10am; 5k & 10k – 10:45am
Minimum age: 11 yrs for the 5k, 15 yrs for the 10k, 17 yrs for the Half Marathon.
We will have a secure area where you can leave your baggage. We recommend you bring as little baggage as possible. Your baggage tag is attached to your race number, you simply tear it off and attach to your bag. To collect, show your number to the baggage tent staff and they will help you find your baggage.
There will be portaloos for you to use within the event village.
There will be water available on every lap of the race, and there will also be water available at the finish. We have also ordered some flapjacks and bananas for when you finish :-)
You are free to wander around the lake so you can see where the competitors will be running. It is lapped so you will see them on numerous occasions.
Results will be available on www.runthrough.co.uk after the race.
We will have a photographer taking a few snaps of the race and they will be on our Facebook page after the race so be sure to check it out and see if you can spot yourself.
Things to note!
There WILL be pedestrians on the paths. We recommend you do not use earphones and you need to pay close attention to everything around you. Please be aware of people, cyclists and dogs.
