Organiser's Description

Our very first Winter Hot Chocolate race is set in the picturesque Derwenthaugh Country Park, Gateshead. The 5k family run is on paved footpaths in the Park and is mostly flat, making it suitable for all abilities and ages. It takes in a loop of the Park, starting and finishing at the Winlaton Mill entrance. Race numbers will need to be collected on the day from Race HQ (located near the start line).

Children aged under 11 can be accompanied by a parent/adult carer for free. Finishers will receive a warming hot chocolate in a commemorative mug to take home. Event T-Shirts are available to buy at an extra cost.
