With a rich history dating back to the 1980s as a Scottish Championship course, the Loch Rannoch Marathon has become a must-do for runners across the UK since its revival in 2015. Runners will be treated to breathtaking views along the picturesque north and south shores of Loch Rannoch as they compete on this accurately measured route, complete with chip timing. There is a great history behind the Loch Rannoch Marathon, going back to the 1980's when it was the course of the Scottish Championships.

Nice route and fairly well organised except I feel that the registration attendants could've been more communicative about how things were going to work, especially for newcomers like me.
