Regents Park

Organiser's Description

We are excited to return to the incredible Regent’s Park, one of London’s Royal Parks situated in North-West London and home to ZSL London Zoo - you may even catch a glance of some animals along the way! The flat nature of the course offers a great opportunity for a chip timed personal best! Each kilometer is accurately marked out with distance flags and we have plenty of helpers to keep you on track and to encourage you on your way to the finish. Come and enjoy the day with us; we hope to see you there!

A very well organised event

This was my first run and felt a bit nervous but everything was so well organised and staff so friendly, that the had a great time.

Great run, shame about the start

Nice run:
- Great course
- beautiful park
- Well organized in terms of bags, bib collection, marshals around the race, etc.

Could be improved by starting the faster runners from either distance ahead of the slower runners. My partner ran the 10k and spent the majority of the first loop weaving between slow 5k runners who had been set off ahead of him. From my perspective on the 5k, even not being a particularly slow runner, it is quite demotivating to be overtaken by fast 10k runners throughout the second half of the run.

Great event

Well organised even in a beautiful park. Twist and turns and some slopes makes it a fun 5k
