Organiser's Description
Introducing the Sundowner at Lee Valley! This awesome event will start with an afternoon 10k and a half marathon, before ending with a sunset siesta! Both distances will start at the White Water Centre, then head out into the beautiful regional park that surrounds it, then end right back where it all began. After completing the race, join us on the terrace for an ice cold drink, great live music and some chilled vibes whilst you sit back, relax, and watch the sun go down.

Course Details
A beautiful, picturesque course that is also both flat and fast
The 10k and Half Marathon will start together. Both races start and finish in the White Water Centre, opening with the 10k lap and approaching the finish area, the Half Marathon cuts away to complete a complete lap of the White Water rapids before heading back in to the Regional Park for a second lap, including a short out-and-back section to ensure the course distance is accurate.
10K – Single lap | Half Marathon – 2 laps
The course is run mainly on tarmac pathways through the regional park.

Race numbers will be collected at the the event venue on the afternoon of the race.
Registration open from 3:30pm
The detailed pre-race information will be sent you by email in the week leading up to the event.
Please arrive in sufficient time to collect your race number.

Simply add MEDAL INSERT on your registration form and you’ll be sent the insert in the mail shortly after race day, for you to apply to your medal and display proudly!
There will be a prizegiving to the top 3 male and female finishers in each race on the day
There will be full results on the chip timing website both overall and by category.

Health
It is important that you are fit to run and have not experienced any Covid-19 symptoms in the 14 days leading up to the event.
Race Numbers
Please wear your number pinned to the front of your vest.
Parking
Parking is available at Lee Valley Regional Park and there will be a £3 parking fee collected on the day. There is no parking at the White Water Centre.
Changing and Bag Storage
We will not be providing a changing area, therefore please come changed and ready to race. There will be a designated baggage area for this event.
Toilets
Toilets will be provided for the event.
Water Station
There will be water stations available on the route. There will also be water available at the finish.
Time Limit
The Sundowner Lee Valley Half Marathon and 10K have a maximum time restriction of 3 hours, after which there may not be marshals and time keepers available.
