Course Details

Check In at the following, Bute Park, Cardiff Bay and Hailey Park. Start and finish at any location and run to one, two or all CheckPoints. That's completely up to you so you can set your run distance! (please note we may add new locations for you to visit! Stay posted for more on these as we approach this event)

You can choose where you start and finish your challenge, and choose how many CheckPoints you visit within the event time.

Depending on your route, distance will range approximately from 5k, 10k up to around 15k with a mix of path, road, trails and sections of flat or undulating so be prepared.

Participants will receive exact CheckPoint Challenge locations prior to Challenge day.

How to Get There

By Car

Please check each CheckPoint location as you can park around most of these. Please note some locations will be pay and display.

Event Hub Location

Each CheckPoint will have at least one of our team members and we will share exact locations to all entrants within their Fix profile page.

Our team will have the CheckPoint Challenge signs with QR codes and will be wearing either a marshal jacket or CheckPoint Challenge armband.

how it works

* Start your challenge at any of our set CheckPoints

* Start your challenge anytime between 8am and 10am

* Event crew at each CheckPoint will be ready to welcome you, help you scan in and run!

* The challenge is up to you - Do the full circuit or just run between your chosen CheckPoint (remember you can start at any one and finish at any one)

* Distances you can complete will range from 5k, 10k to approximately 15k – depending on your route

* There's no set route in between each CheckPoint however we provide a run route option that you can view and decide if you want to use this

event day information

ARRIVAL AND REGISTRATION

Entry confirmation will be sent by email or within your user profile – you will need access to this on challenge day so please use your phone to check in.

You must arrive and start between 8am and 10am, and everyone must finish by 11.30am.

Each runner will receive a CheckPoint Challenge Armband – this should be worn during the challenge.

AFTER THE RUN

Results go live as the event is taking place.

Every runner receives their medal and running armband in the post prior to the event.
