The Dastardly Mudgely

Sweets Tea Room, Blakeway, Wedmore, Somerset

Wedmore BS28 4UE, UK

Sun 31st March 2019

Organiser's Description

A new style of cycling event for 2019. How many 23k laps on the Somerset levels do you think you can complete. How many times do you think you can climb to Mudgley? This isn't your usual sportive...

The loop starts and finishes in the legendary Sweets Tea Rooms, in the middle of the Somerset Levels, and despite being on the 'levels' you'll have to take in the sting of Snake Lane to the village of Mudgley on each lap. On the first lap this may feel like a speed-bump, but by lap eight you will be pushing yourself for sure!

At exactly 8am, we will depart on our first lap. At exactly 9am we will depart on our second lap. At exactly 10am we will depart on our third lap. This continues either until the tenth and final lap departs at 5pm, or no-one is back in time to depart on the next scheduled lap. Come and challenge yourself to complete all ten laps.
