Please note the course is a closed lake and closed roads - The cycle and run route is flat - cycle is 4 laps for 20k and the run is out and back twice to make 5k - wheelchair friendly - note the course may be altered at any point up to event day if necessary

THE VENUE AND GENERAL DETAILS

Race packs will be collected on the day unless otherwise specified.

If travelling by train the main stations for Dorney Lake are Slough (Paddington line) and Windsor & Eton Riverside (from Waterloo) but is also near Burnham, Taplow, Maidenhead and Windsor & Eton Central (branch of Paddington line). From these stations you can get a taxi or if with a bike you can ride to the venue. We recommend researching the best option before travelling to ensure you arrive on time.

Limited bag storage will be available but please try to keep all your belongings in your area within the transition.

Toilets will be onsite.

Recommended arrival time is 8am/830am.

Parking for triathletes is the main carparking by the clubhouse. This is to the left when you get to the end of the lake.

Race packs are collected from our registration tents in front of the clubhouse. Queue up by race number as shown on front of the gazebos. Within your race pack will be your race number, your timing chip and strap, safety pins, bike and baggage labels. please ensure you put the timing chip on your right ankle and make sure it is on correctly so it doesn't fall off. Please make sure it is on before the start of the event and hand back to our team once you cross the finish line.

If you are not BTF registered you have to pay the £6 levy at registration. If you are BTF registered please remember to bring your license.

After registering you have to rack your bike. You MUST wear a helmet otherwise we are not allowed to let you participate. All bikes MUST be racked by 9.45am.

The race will start at 10.15am

Water temperature - Currently 20 degrees - if under 11 degrees and the swim is cancelled, over 11 degrees and wetsuits must be worn, over 16 degrees and wetsuits are optional and over 22 degrees and no wetsuits are allowed.
