Organiser's Description

ONLINE ENTRY FOR THE 04/07/2021 EVENT HAS NOW CLOSED. ENTRY ON THE DAY WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE.

Strictly limited to just 250 runners whilst COVID-secure measures remain in place, get in quick to join us at this beautiful Royal Park, famous for its iconic 10K course - and fast times across the board - for runners at all levels.

Whilst COVID-secure measures remain in place, the event hub will be located next to The Broad Walk Cafe. Once restrictions are relaxed, events are expected to be located at The Hub. Please always check any pre-race communication as the location can change at late notice.

Returning with COVID-safe measures - including waved arrivals and start times - this is your chance to experience a glorious Royal Park run after a year of solo running.

Proudly holding London's most popular 10K in a park setting, you'll quickly see why more than 100,000 finishers have chosen The Regent's Park with its beautiful landscape and great race atmosphere. Those looking for a lighter challenge can join us for our summer 5K events and, if a 10K isn't challenging enough, maybe our autumn Half Marathon is suitable! Participants should note that, with a 2-hour limit, the Half Marathon is recommended for intermediate runners only.

Running alongside London Zoo, lucky runners will spot camels, giraffes (or even some big cats!), while other sections of the course take you past the tranquil boating lake, floral gardens and centuries-old statues and monuments.

With acres of open space for relaxing and recovering with friends, you'll be able to make a great trip out to celebrate one of your fastest 10K times, recorded by chip-timing on this official measured course.

There's no finish line feeling quite like The Regent's Park!

Other Information

As UK Athletics licensed events, the pushing of persons in any device is prohibited under the UKA Rules of Competition (including, but not limited to, a Wheelchair, Buggy, Pushchair, Stroller or similar).

As part of our ongoing COVID response, to ensure the opportunities for social distancing are maximised, Spectators are strongly discouraged at these events.

Participants must not be accompanied by a personally owned or controlled Dog during an event. Entries may be accepted from participants with medical assistance dogs, subject to them being correctly registered and identifiable as such, and subject to prior approval by the Event Director.

These events are suitable for Wheelchair Users. Participants wishing to compete with specialised equipment are asked to contact us before entering to ensure we can accommodate any additional requirements.

Noise-cancelling Earphones/Headphones are prohibited and, whilst we discourage the use of other earphones/headphones for those competing in running events, participants choosing to use them should ensure they are set to a low enough volume that instructions from marshals and/or other event officials can be clearly understood. We reserve the right to disqualify participants who cannot hear instructions as a result of their use.

Since these events take place at a venue open to the public, participants should remain vigilant of each other, spectators, marshals, cyclists, dogs and other users of public footpaths and rights of way at all times.

With respect to a Time-Limit for these events, in order that we adhere to the restrictions imposed by the venue hire agreement, it may be necessary for us to begin deconstruction of the course and/or start/finish area at approximately 11:00 to facilitate our departure from the premises by the agreed time. If participants are unable to complete their event by this time, they may be asked to end their participation early.

Very average for the cost. The run itself was nice and flat on very even terrain. however the run was badly signmarked. it was alongside a 10km race which led to very confusing signs on distance ran. Seemed quite a lot for £17, very few things after the event to enjoy as well.
