A mad dash across Telford and back, taking in the Gorge.
Choice of 50K (ish) and Half Marathon
Come and join us on Saturday 28th March for the 10th running of The Silkin Way Ultra. There is a choice of Half marathon distance or 50K (ish) Ultra. This race was held originally to coincide with the birthday of the Silkin Way when it was 50 years old and takes runners from the south side of Telford by The River Severn, to the northern side in Bratton. Once refuelled in Bratton, runners travel back through Telford, before turning west towards Coalbrookdale and Ironbridge. Aid stations at 6 miles and 13.1 and 20 miles full of drinks and food. Course marking include a map, GPX, chalk arrows and council way markers.
